What are the pros?
Engine designed by Ferrari engineer.
Componentry shared with Lamborghinis.
Italian-built.
What are the cons?
See above.
It’s the Fiat 124 Coupe.
This little Fiat delivers on the design front with fantastic 60’s headlights, clean body panels, chrome trimmings and a 3-box profile. Not to mention the Blu Cannes paintwork.
On the powertrain front, well this particular sale comes with three engines (…not all fitted). However, the 125A engine in the car is also know as The Fiat Twin Cam engine, and is the most successful engine in the World Rally Championship of ALL TIME.
Not many of these cars grace the streets, meaning that it’s $13,000 price tag is fairly easy money into the classic car scene.
After a bonnet and boot respray, new chrome mirrors and selling off the extra goodies that comes with the sale, I would be confident in a solid value car with a good appreciation – both socially and monetarily.
That’s why the Fiat 124 Sports Coupe is in the Duckson Garage.
